lei abbraccia lui stringendolo al suo petto

Esiste un passaggio dalla vita alla realtà, imperscrutabile in un poliziotto, ed esisteva anche nella vita di Davide e non era molto diverso da una partita a poker, ma senz’assi.

Per quanto Davide avesse provato a restare ancorato alla vita, la realtà quotidiana faceva capolino tutte le notti impedendogli di dormire…
“Per salvare la vita a un investigatore basta poco” – le aveva detto – “la passione per uno sport, l’arte, l’amore di una donna…, tu”.

Dalla soffitta pieni di ricordi dimenticati alla terrazza, ove faceva mostra di sé e neppure troppo verosimilmente: per Davide il passo era breve.

L’idea del suicidio tornava spesso a fargli compagnia al punto da diventare ossessiva compagna, una stalker capace di trasformare anche il sorriso dato alla vita di un attimo prima in una disperata caduta vertiginosa nella realtà quella che lo opprimeva con le sue scadenze, anche quelle da pagare e che verosimilmente iniziava a credere di poter riscattare al prezzo della propria vita.

E’ QUESTA QUELLA CHE IO DEFINISCO LA SOLITUDINE COL DISTINTIVO perché è come un passe partout apre tutte le porte e non riesci a lasciarla fuori dalla tua vita.

” Se tu sapessi quello che ho fatto nella mia vita, non mi parleresti più” – le aveva detto apostrofando così un passato fatto di ombre senza luce, ombre da poca luce per poi diventare ombre e basta.

“Ci sono notti, e ce ne saranno ancora, in cui il tuo angelo verrà a trovarti e tu lo aspetterai e non sarai mai solo, perché sai che a quell’incontro non tarderà, per quell’incontro volerà fino a te, in quell’incontro ti donerà un piccolo frammento di Paradiso….“.
Si concludeva così la mail che Lei gli aveva scritto e poi spedito di notte, dopo il loro incontro in ufficio – raccontato ne #1 L’arte della vita .
Era una mano su mano che scrive senza indugio, carezzando, senza toccare, le pieghe più nascoste dell’anima, quelle da svelare…

La divisa andava tolta, con cura ricomposta e poi indossata l’indomani come dalla soffitta si passava alla terrazza… Non v’era altra alternativa per Davide che, giorno dopo giorno scivolava giù come sabbia in una clessidra.
